I wrote my last Monday Morning Mojo from deep in the Adirondack wilderness via text message using a new iPhone feature that allows one to text via satellite. Not always dependable, but there it is.
The interface for the satellite connection resembles a game; you orient your iPhone toward the sky, and it guides you to turn right, turn left, or turn around to establish a connection with the satellite. You can see the interface in the attached picture.
It struck me that this little task – turning slowly, holding still, waiting for the signal – mirrors the way we orient ourselves to what matters. Productivity isn’t just about output; it’s about aligning with a clear sense of purpose. With even a brief connection, we can accomplish so much, even with just a little.
