Christina Economos is a researcher and activist. She led the research in 2001 that documented 10 key attributes of a national movement (documented in this paper). Her city-wide intervention, Shape Up Somerville, was studied as a key success and helped form the Collective Impact model.
Today she directs ChildObesity180, with a mission to reverse the trend of childhood obesity in America. Engaging collaboration across sectors, Christina blends scientific evidence and business innovation for a fresh approach to this serious epidemic.
