Dawn on the Eastern Seaboard

Last week, my family and I were in Bethany Beach. We enjoyed seven days of summer chillin’.

My daughter, Ruchi, asked me to get up at dawn to go for a walk on the beach with her and her little dog, Divya. The picture above is of us at 5:30 AM, as the sun was rising over the eastern horizon.

We had a great time with most of the beach to ourselves. It was Divya‘s first time with big waves. We have taken the pup to a Chesapeake Bay beach, but there were no real waves to speak of. Here they were breaking all around us, and she enjoyed it so much. I snapped this pic between two waves.
