My wife, Laura, and I have been reading about how our ancestors made the trip to Australia approximately 65,000 years ago. It was quite a trek, continuously pushing at the boundaries of their known world. Can you imagine taking your family out on a craft and heading into the horizon to find a place no humans had ever been to? Although it seems incredibly daring and risky, it was probably the norm for many of our predecessors, pushing through to unknown lands in search of food.
Laura wrote the song, Refugee, to express the struggle, perseverance and ultimately the power of the human spirit. The refugee has always walked our earth searching for home and a place to live safely and to prosper. Check out her video here.
Is there a frontier you are pushing against that deserves your dedication in the week ahead?
“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.”
