The “Love, Your Mind” campaign, from the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and the Ad Council, offers inspiration, community, and educational resources to encourage people across the U.S. to be more open and proactive about their mental health.
While working on “Stop Stigma Together,” the Grand Challenge to eliminate stigma around mental health and substance use disorders across the USA, I have had the chance to see this campaign develop and roll out. It has been one of the greatest experiences of my professional career.
The joy has come from being involved in good work that contributes to society and from the opportunity to see how such an impactful campaign is developed, tested, implemented, and measured.
The website includes information on how to get help now, who to call or text, what to do in a mental health crisis, and recommended resources.
This campaign is directed to all Americans serving our country.
“There is no health without mental health; mental health is too important to be left to the professionals alone, and mental health is everyone’s business.”
