Stepping Out

When I went on this last camping trip, I rented a 2014 Jeep Wrangler because the last time I took my car up these mountain roads, I popped off a lower door panel. I had no idea how much fun I would have driving the Jeep. On the highways, being up higher than most and having almost 360 visibility was a really fun way to ride.

When I had some rutted roads with big boulders to cross, I shifted into low 4×4 and was so impressed with the handling. I took the ruts like they were nothing, steady and easy. That was fun! My whole life I have wanted to drive a jeep, but never enough to rent one or consider buying one until this trip. The timing was perfect. It was just one component of what brought the whole journey together.

Is there something you can build into the week ahead that feeds a longstanding yearning? I can tell you first hand there’s some extra energy to be had if there is!

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
