Transiting Worlds

Transiting WorldsFrom the back country woods of Virginia to downtown Manhattan in 72 hours. We all have experienced going from one world to another. How does the human brain do it?

It could be as subtle as going from the classroom to the office, or home to work. Different mores, norms, and taboos – no problem! We switch from one set of expectations to another without even being aware we are moving from one reality to another.

When you only know one language, you think the words are reality. As soon as you learn a second language you realize words are only describing reality, not equal to it. And ‘the meta’ is born in awareness.

There is so much we are capable of. We have only begun to explore the possibilities. They include worlds not yet created… like the potential of the Internet in the minds of the tribes of 50,000 years ago.

What worlds are you engaging in this week? Are there gifts you bring from one reality to another?

“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”

– Albert Einstein
