I was prepping for a full-day session about culture change when I was reminded of my work with the World Bank. All culture change begins with a conversation. It begins slowly and by bringing the right people together. Engagement is fundamental; it is the traction the pushes your initiative forward.
Whether a Grand Challenge or a culture change initiative, the most important piece is the support and buy-in of the people who are going to bring about the desired results. You create this engagement by providing an opportunity to question, challenge, and think about the goals and tasks ahead.
Today I challenge you to spark the conversations using the objective you are looking for and be patient as you build momentum.
