I had the good fortune to join an extraordinary panel of organizational development experts at the Chesapeake Bay Organization Development Network’s annual gathering last Saturday. Photo by Ruchi Kahan, who came to listen, learn about organizational development, and spend some professional time with me.
One insight from the event that has stayed with me: Our greatest impact comes when three things align: what we’re skilled at, what we’re passionate about, and what the world we are serving needs. And, there is a bigger question to explore: How can we use our talents to tackle challenges that extend beyond our organizations?
The world needs changemakers willing to cross boundaries, bring people together, and take on problems no one can solve alone. The best part is you don’t need a special title or permission to begin.
This week, ask yourself: Where do my talents, passions, and the world’s needs intersect? And what’s one step I can take to make a difference?
That’s where mojo lives!
“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”
