When I was a kid Crackerjack had a surprise inside each box. It was something little and insignificant, but it was so much fun to find!
I have adopted the attitude that life is filled with surprises each day. If you’re religious you might ascribe this to divine intervention. If you’re not, then it’s serendipitous. But it’s just as fun nonetheless!
Every day I go looking for the hidden surprise. I’m looking for that one thing that jumps out to enjoy. I hold onto the childish spirit that loves a surprise intentionally planted in a treat just for me.
You never know what it might be. Yesterday it was a song I hadn’t heard in a long time. It brought back great memories and made a new one.
