The fall season has begun. School is in session. Workers are back from vacation. And I am kicking into gear with Grand Challenges.
I have begun work on my next book; it will be my fifth. This one is all about the world of Grand Challenges.
In addition, I am working with a colleague to produce a professional gathering on Grand Challenges, Glen Kreiner, the L.S. Skaggs Presidential Chair in Business Ethics Management at the University of Utah. Glen holds two notable distinctions in this work: (1) he helps me lead Stop Stigma Together, the current Grand Challenge I am working on, and (2) he is a researcher of Grand Challenges. Our professional gathering will include leaders interested in Grand Challenges, researchers, and a Stop Stigma Together case study.
I will soon launch a podcast with the working title “It is a Grand Challenge World.” The podcast will examine all the hairy problems our civilization faces and the people who are tackling them, as well as share my experience and methods with Grand Challenges.
I am out of the starting gate for the fall season, off and running!
“I think the folks who go after grand challenges are impatient.”
