Last week, Ruchi and I went to see Ateez in Washington, DC, at the Capital One Arena, with 20,000 fans, or Atinies, as they are known to each other. It was a blast. The stage show was more powerful, beautiful, and awesome than any concert I have ever been to.
This week, we are meeting my lovely wife, Laura, in Chicago to attend another performance of the same show! Ruchi is completely psyched. We stood in line today for an hour just to buy some merch – that’s the attached photo – and are heading back over to the Allstate Arena shortly to take in the show. I am looking forward to it, too.
I love Ateez, and I, of course, love spending time with my daughter and wife. Tomorrow night, we will pick up my son at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport as he flies in from Montréal, where he is attending and presenting at the American Sociological Association’s annual conference. Then, we will drive him to his home in Madison, Wisconsin, where he is beginning his third year of graduate school.
I am a happy man!
