Today I want to talk to you about the second condition required for the success of a collective impact model: Shared Measurement.
Last week I talked about the common agenda as a precondition for success. Both conditions are imperative to a successful Collective Impact, the name of a model for any initiative that harnesses the power of multiple organizations and activists toward a single cause.
Measurement is the activity that links everybody who’s working on the collective impact model. It’s critical that you choose a measure that can be shared widely, examined together, and used to improve the results of your initiative.
